Symposium LocationThe State/EPA Innovation Symposium 2010 and associated meetings will be at Monona Terrace, Madison, Wisconsin on November 1-4, 2010. Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center opened in 1997. The exterior design was originally developed by Wisconsin native Frank Lloyd Wright in 1938 while the interior was redesigned by Wright apprentice and Taliesin architect Tony Puttnam to house the state-of-the art exhibition, meeting, and public space. Monona Terrace is the first convention center to receive silver level certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings (LEED - EB) rating system. |

TRANSPORTATION TO HOTEL: The Hilton Madison has complimentary shuttle service to and from Dane County Regional Airport. The hours of operation are 7am – 10pm, 7 days a week. Guests may request our shuttle upon arrival by using the courtesy phone located in baggage claim. Travel time to and from the airport is 15 -20 minutes depending on traffic. If your guests need transportation outside of our hours of operation, there are taxi cabs waiting outside baggage claim. Approximate cost is $17 one way. Underground parking is available at the Hotel at posted ramp prices. Current rates are $12/overnight subject to change. INTERNET ACCESS: Both wired and wireless high speed internet access is available in all guest rooms. Public space, including meeting rooms and Capitol ChopHouse, has wireless access throughout. Cost is $9.95 for 24 hours. |

Madison has approximately one acre of parkland for every 35 residents, whereas the national average is only one acre for every 140 residents.
